Blue cards

EU BLUE CARDS: How to take advantage of all potential benefits?

On the 4th November from 8:30 to 9:30am, CEBRE organised in cooperation with Danish Employer’s Federation (DA) and Richard Falbr MEP a Policy Café titled “EU Blue Cards: How to take advantage of all potential benefits?”, which was held in the European Parliament, Members Saloon (Rue Wiertz, Brussels).

In October 2007, the European commission published the Blue Cards proposal for third-countries nationals willing to work in the EU. Blue cards should render the EU more attractive for the highly qualified workers from the non-EU countries. It will allow them to get a single work and residence permit giving access to a range of socio-economic rights and respecting the family reunification.

How can the EU attract more highly qualified professionals and skilled workers from the third countries?
