We have just published next issue of of our newsletter Czech Business Today.
September issue is devoted to the developments of international trade of the Czech Republic after the accession to the EU. Being a small open economy international trade is of a great importance for our country. There is a number of initiatives going to both at the level of the government and business associations. Important role in promotion of exports and internationalisation is played by CzechTrade, the official Czech export promotion agency. We bring you interview with its general manager Ivan Jukl. We closely examine also the Export strategy of the Czech Republic for the year 2006-2010.
One of the crucial issues when doing business abroad is protection of intellectual property rights. But the influx of falsified branded goods (clothes, garments, shoes but also industrial products) from Asian countries including China is a big threat also on the European market.
Autumn months will be crucial for the adoption of new chemical policy of the EU known under the acronym REACH. Czech chemical industry is very well aware of the developments and by presenting their position in Czech Business Today they want to participate actively in the debate.
We hope that you find this issue of Czech Business Today interesting.
