The main topic of the forth issue of the Czech Business Today deals with transparency and complexity of European tenders. In the end of June CEBRE - Czech Business Representation to the EU in cooperation with Czech export Agency CzechTrade and economic counsellors from Czech embassies abroad discussed with Czech companies how to participate in the European tenders granted within the pre-accession aid. The article reveals some problems the applicants and contractors might be confronted with. The second theme is innovation. The Europe2020 Strategy puts innovation at the fore front of European policies and confirms 3% target in R&D. The article shows how to support the investments in innovation and support the R&D in European companies.
