The new logo for the Czech Republic´s EU presidency was presented last weak

Czech Prime minister Mirek Topolánek and Czech Deputy Prime Minister for EU Affairs Alexandr Vondra presented the new logo for the Czech Republic´s EU presidency in Prague´s Veletržní palác.

The diverse and colorful logo symbolizes motto of the Czech Presidency “Europe without barriers“ and together motto of EU “United in diversity”. Vondra also mentioned that the logo is to symbolize diversity, openness, colourfulness and playfulness, of the Czech people"

At the same time the Czech government presented the main priorities for the Czech presidency which has been stressed in 3 Es:

- Economy – present economic crisis and its impact

- Energy – the implementation of climate-energy package

- Europe and World – relations between EU - US, Eastern Europe, Western Balkan and Croatia
