• Alena Mastantuono, Directress (2012-2021), Deputy Directress (2007-2012)

    Alena worked at CEBRE from October 2007 to February 2012 as Deputy Directress, then as Directress until May 2021. She is now a permanent delegate of the Czech Chamber of Commerce to EUROCHAMBRES and a member of the European Economic and Social Committee. Alena graduated at the Palacky University in Olomouc and at the Masaryk University in Brno with major in Economics and Public Administration. During her studies she has spent a couple of months at Universities in Lille and Rennes (France) and undergone a traineeship at the European Commission. She wrote her thesis about pension reform at Research Institute of Macroeconomics studies and International Finance in Nice. She worked in private and public sector. Before joining CEBRE, she worked at the Czech Ministry of Finance  on ECOFIN issues and on preparations of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU. 

  • Mgr. Michal Kadera, LLM., Director (2008–2012)

    Michal graduated at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen majoring in Law, studied Political Science and graduated at University of Passau, Germany, in Law (LL.M.). Michal has been active in advocacy with focus on European and international law. Worked for the Senate Chamber of the Parliament of the Czech Republic within the system of the preliminary parliamentary control and served as Head of Unit of EU Affairs at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. Michal professes European Law at the Faculty of Law at University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and publishes on EU affairs on regular basis.

    Michal worked for CEBRE as a Director from 2008 to mid-February 2012. From May to December 2007, he served as a Deputy Director, and from January 2008 to mid-February 2012 as a Director CEBRE. Now he works as the Director of external relations at the Škoda Auto.

  • Ing. Blanka Jakubcová, Directress (2003–2007)

    Blanka Jakubcová studied Foreign Trade at the University of Economics in Prague. For many years she was devoted to export of Czech products, two and a half year as a representative at the Czechoslovak Business Representation in Montreal. Blanka has been working for the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic since the year of 1997. In April 2002 she became the first representative of CEBRE in Brussels, since 2003 in the position of Directress. Now she has been working for four years as a Deputy Directress for External Relations at Confederation of Industry.

  • Ing. Ondřej Hradil, Deputy Director (2003–2007)

    Ondřej worked at CEBRE in the position of Deputy Director from May 2003 to September 2007. He graduated at the University of Economics in Prague from Management and Business Administration, during his studies Ondřej was on Socrates internship at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam – Programme in International Business. Prior to joining the CEBRE he worked for the Czech Chamber of Commerce as the Director of the Center for European Integration. Now Ondřej has been working for three years in CEITEC – Central European Institute of Technology as the Deputy Project Director.

  • Mgr. Martin Duda, Deputy Director (2003–2007)

    Martin graduated at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University in Prague. At first, he worked at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, where he participated in the preparation of the Czech Republic for drawing funds from the European Social Fund after entering the EU. Then he worked at the National Institute of Vocational Education as a coordinator of the preparation and implementation of projects PHARE and Leonardo da Vinci in the field of human resources development. He worked in CEBRE from 2003 to May 2007 as a Deputy Director CEBRE. Now he works as the Director of Innovation Support Centre at the Technical University of Ostrava.
